As part of the latter’s 30th anniversary celebration, Jordan Brand reunites with the influential shop with the Union LA x Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Taupe Haze.’ The mid-top is exclusive to Union and drawn from a capsule dubbed “Tent and Trail,” which is inspired by outdoor gear from the 1980s and 1990s and features the same redesigned build the creative partners debuted in 2020. The upper, made of breathable mesh and soft suede, is finished in a neutral taupe colour. The lower moulded eyelets and heel tab, which are accented with a raised Nike Air emblem in Blue Fury, are highlighted with bright Roma Green. The brilliant colour is carried over to the collar lining and stitched fold-down tongue, a leftover detail from the 2020 collaboration, along with translucent TPU wings and a yellow ‘UN/LA’ tag. An off-white polyurethane midsole with an aqua-tinged Air-sole unit under the heel provides lightweight cushioning.
