Tinker Hatfield’s 1989 design, the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Taupe Haze,” features a subtle colorway. The upper is finished in a dark taupe colorway and is made of textured suede with cracked leather on the collar, tongue, and mudguard. Black hits contrast with the laces, plastic wings, and heel tab, which is imprinted with the Jumpman emblem. On the tongue tag, a second Jumpman icon is rendered in Infrared to match the tongue’s internal lining. A two-tone PU midsole with a visible Air unit in the heel and encapsulated Air in the forefoot provides lightweight cushioning.
