The prized colorway that debuted in 2006 (and was previously reissued in 2012) returns on the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Thunder” in 2023. Smooth black nubuck covers the top, which is contrasted with yellow accents on the moulded eyelets, quarter panel, and lower tongue—the latter two of which are encased in black netting. The tongue tag and moulded heel tab of the Flight are branded with the Jumpman logo. A yellow polyurethane midsole with a visible Air-sole unit in the heel provides lightweight cushioning.
