There’s no disputing that the Nike Dunk Low has come a long way since its debut in 1985, but the model has failed to produce a similar amount of women-only versions to those traditionally geared at males. A new “Light Violet” option, on the other hand, joins a growing list of styles that aim to do precisely that.
The current variant features a white smooth leather basis, similar to some of the model’s most iconic hues. Overlays over the forefoot, tongue, and heel provide a contrasting “Light Violet” tone that appears to be a late spring release. The Nike Dunk’s outsole, as well as the branding on the tongue, sock-liner, and top heel panel, are all in a light tone.
