The Nike LeBron 9 ‘Watch the Throne’ 2021 edition reintroduces a hyper-limited colorway of LeBron James’ ninth signature shoe. The sneaker is named after and inspired by Jay-Z and Kanye West’s 2011 album, which was made for the NBA player and a few of his close friends and acquaintances. The black Hyperfuse upper is accented with metallic gold Swooshes, as well as inner Flywire cables and designed textile wings that imitate carbon fibre. The interior lining and laces are covered in a luxuriant multicolour design, which is partially veiled by intricate gold-plated lace jewels. The black Phylon midsole, which features encapsulated Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot and a 180-degree Max Air unit in the heel, is enlivened by matching gold speckles.
