The KAWS + sacai x Nike Blazer Low ‘Purple Dusk’ is a vivid collaboration that brings two innovative creatives together. Sacai’s doubled-up design has a purple leather upper with stacked eyestays and Swooshes, the latter rendered in tonal suede and aqua-colored leather, thanks to designer Chitose Abe’s collaboration with Brooklyn-based artist KAWS. The dual-branded sockliner and one of the sneaker’s two woven tongue tags feature KAWS’ distinctive ‘XX.’ On the lateral side of the textured rubber midsole, the motif is repeated. Underfoot, a conventional herringbone rubber outsole provides sticky traction.
