With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I’ve started to reflect on the values my Mum taught me when I was growing up. She taught me to be polite and respect others, to always pay my bills first and, last but not least, not to waste my money and get some savings in my bank account.
Now I’m fully grown, I feel I’ve managed to adopt most of the values she tried to instil in me as a child. I think, for the most part, I’m polite and respectful to others. I know I definitely pay my bills first whenever my pay goes into my account, but the saving money part has gone right out the window due to my raging sneaker addiction. More specifically, my Yeezy addiction! So to feel better about myself for copping almost every Yeezy release (shoes & clothing lol) since the Nike Red October, this Mother’s Day, I’m going to buy my Mum a pair of Yeezy’s!
So I thought whilst I’m browsing for the perfect pair of Yeezy’s for my Mum, I’d put together some suggestions for all you other Yeezy addicts out there. This Mother’s Day, let’s get your mum looking like she’s Kim K casually stepping out of a luxury vehicle for the Season 6 campaign!

Yeezy 500
The Yeezy 500 Desert Rat kicked off Yeezy Season 6 with the original Super Moon Yellow colourway, only available in a pre-order bundle with a season 6 hoodie and shorts. The Yeezy 350 blew people’s minds when it came on the scene, and the V2 perfected the 350 silhouettes. The best pair for your Mum would be the Synth colourway with its beautiful subdued pinkish colour.

Whether your mum is out in the garden watering the plants, out at the shops or just relaxing on the couch with her feet up, you can’t go past the Yeezy Slides. Yeezy Foam RNNR
Kanye West isn’t one for going with the flow, and the Yeezy Foam RNNR is definitely pushing some boundaries. But if your Mum already owns a pair of Crocs, she’s already crossed many boundaries and will feel right at home in the Foam RNNRS. My pick of the bunch is still the Sand colourway, as it goes with absolutely anything you can think of!
Yeezy 700
Last but not least, the iconic Yeezy 700 Waverunner. The Waverunner was Kanye’s first shoe with Adidas to venture out of the sock style of the 350s. In my opinion, this is the best Yeezy since the Nike Red October and will be iconic for many years to come. If you can’t decide on what Yeezy’s to get your Mum, then the Yeezy 700 Waverunner is a clear choice.
